How to Get Alexis' Lashes

Alexis probably has the most perfect, natural lashes I’ve ever seen, but getting them is super easy!

Step One: Curl lashes.  This is especially important if you have shorter lashes that grow outwards instead of upwards.  Alexis uses a Tarte eyelash curler but you can get them cheap at any drugstore. My tip is to look downwards into a mirror when I curl them.  Gets a better grip/curl that way.

Step Two: Make sure your lashes are evenly spread out.  You can use your finger or I use a spoolie to brush them out.

Step Three: Tightline your eyes.  Basically this means lining your upper waterline with eyeliner (I prefer black).  It sounds scary but it just kind of tickles. The result is a thick-looking lashline.  Here’s a video to demonstrate (x). She used a liquid liner but i use pencil.

Step Four: Coat with mascara.  Alexis uses Covergirl Lash Blast.  Personally I love the Ulta Super Stretch Fiber Mascara (no longer available online but I’ve seen it in stores recently.  Maybelline Mega Plush is a good dupe for this, just a couple dollars more expensive).  It makes my lashes nice and black and soft looking.  It doesn’t clump or get crunchy as the day goes on.  I wiggle the wand from the bases of my lashes and upwards.  I let the first coat dry and then I take the tip of the mascara wand and just coat the ends of my lashes.  It gives them so much extra length.  Last, I take the Cover Girl Lashblast Volume and wiggle it over the bases of my lashes to make them look extra thick.

Lili Claspe Dupes

Lili Claspe is so beautiful but can be expensive.  If you really want a LC piece, shop their clearance! It’s discounted and has a great selection.

If that’s still too expensive, I’ve found some great options on Etsy!  Jenny and Jude is a great LA based company with a lot of dainty pieces I could see Alexis wearing.  Most pieces come in gold, rose gold, or sterling silver.  Standard shipping was about $4.00 in the US.  They ship worldwide.

This is a great layering piece

I recently purchased the Tiny White Bone Double Horn Necklace from Jenny and Jude.  It took about three days for the order to process.  I received a note from Jenny when the package sent with a tracking number.  She was super sweet and gave me a discount code for my next purchase.  It took about five days for the package to get to me.  The package came with a handwritten note and the necklace is perfect. Highly, highly recommend this company.

For Good & Mad has beautiful body chains at reasonable prices.  I checked the reviews and they were all great.

LayeredAndLong is a really great shop for dainty, layering pieces.  Super customizable so you can get exactly the piece you want at a fair price.  Engraved options are available.  Ex: The lariat below is customizable material, length, and pendant.  Every piece is handmade especially for you!

I recommend just going on Etsy and searching for what you’re looking for!  If you make an acount it recommends products based on what you’ve liked/searched for.

Brandy Melville has a lot of great, super cheap options.  The shipping can be kind of expensive and sometimes their jewelry breaks or tarnishes (the metals change colors), but for a really cheap option it’s pretty damn good.

If you would like me to find a specific piece that I didn’t cover here, send me a message or an ask!
